Ceremony May 2

The Faces of Margraten tribute was officially opened on the afternoon of May 2 during a memorial ceremony. Hundreds of people were in attendence. You can reread the remarks shared by several on this page, as well as find a photo impression of the ceremony.

FCS 2370The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief of Mission Sterling (U.S. Embassy The Hague) and Deputy Koopmans of the Province of Limburg. They shared remarks during the ceremony. Chairman Sebastiaan Vonk and the 18-year-old Justine Camps were the other speakers. Intro In Situ offered a musical performance in tribute of the soldiers buried in the cemetery.
